All white now!

Happy New Year! So far 2024 has delivered a deluge of snow to us in the frozen Northern Scotland. Gazing out on the picturesque scene got me thinking about the most underrated of all sea glass colours - white. It's one my most frequent finds on the rugged Aberdeenshire beaches, but that's no surprise as so many bottles were produced in this colour. But it would be churlish to dismiss the frosted charms. Once held to the light, they're often grey, silver, faintest cream, or sometimes even a very pale lavender. I just love pairing the wave-smoothed and frosted gems with silver and sometimes a little cubic zirconia too. Perfect!
