Seeking closure

Stretching behind your head, grappling with your hair and trying to snap the little devils into place - what a drag! So to that end, I've started making my own more substantial closures. I love a toggle clasp, a bar that fits through a loop to hold the item securely. I sometimes use them as a design feature that close on the front of the pendant. I tend to make these quite chunky so they're easy to grasp.

I think these little touches are what make hand made jewellery so special.
