This pretty turquoise sea glass is opaque milk glass found on Findochty beach on the Moray coast. It's been set with recycled Sterling Silver on a hammered ring band with tiny silver balls. The ring is UK size K 1/2. Milk glass was often used in vases, light fittings and decorative table ware. The intense turquoise looks so good against the silver!

Milk glass is quite rare and was often used in vases, jugs and decorative light fittings. It was also used in face cream and toothpaste containers. It's so intriguing to think of how this vibrant gem started out its life!
