This beautiful cobalt blue sea glass gem is set with recycled fine and sterling silver. I've nestled it in a wide recycled sterling silver band. The band was made by carving into a cuttlefish to make a mould and pouring the melted silver in. This heavyweight ring is a UK size P.and has been hallmarked by the Edinburgh Assay Office.

This is a real one off design. I love using recycled sterling silver and cuttlefish casting is such a fun technique. The wonderful ripple.texture is revealed when you carve your design into the soft shell. No two pieces come out the same. The beautiful blue sea glass gem was found by a beachcombing friend on Stonehaven beach. Thanks Jackie 😆
